This virus name “Trojan Horse” is based on the tactic employed by the Achaens ( the collective name for Greeks ) during the Trojan War.  This is a tactic employing the use of enemy entering the stronghold of another .  Although its not proven that this war really happened in history, the term Trojan Horse have since then been used to describe the similar tactic attack.  Trojan War began when Paris of Troy stole Helen of Sparta from King Milenus of Sparta.

After 10 years of fighting, the Greek Odysseus comes up with a plan to construct a wooden horse with a shallow interior to hold the Greek warriors.  They leave the horse to the beach as an offering to Greek God Poseidon for a safe journey home.  Upon finding that the Greeks are gone, the Trojan brought the horse into the city to offer it to the temple of Poseidon.  When everyone is sleeping, the Greek warriors slipped out the wooden horse and opened the gates to the city.

The Greek warriors slaughter most of the Trojans.  And that is how their war ended.
